Father’s Day Celebration Dinner and Drinks Treat at SM Aura

We all know that one of the Most Important person in our lives is our own Father. They are always provide and prove that their are his son's first hero and daughter's first love. A responsible and loving dads are always by our side.

Mr. JJ Yulo, arranged a little dinner with some hardworking Dads you may know. It is a pre-Father's Day treat at Providore and Todd English at SM Aura. The group of Dads celebrated and have a little talk while enjoying a great Dinner and drinks. As per Mr. JJ Yulo " The guest list was as diverse as it gets, with dads from all sorts of backgrounds and one unifying factor: all these fine men tried their best to be exemplary fathers too. And they sure needed a break!"

Their first stop is at Providore Backyard, it is located at the rear of Raintree Group's Providore. A small place where you can enjoy cocktails and beers. The guest came in one by one. Some of the guests are, JJ Yulo known as @nekkidchef, Kalel Chan, Aids Tecson, Gabe Mercado, Him Uy de Baron, TJ Parpan, Paolo Abrera, Patrick Roa. Cocktails and Cozy outdoor place are just a perfect combination of friends to hangout. I'm sure that the guest enjoyed it! According to Mr. JJ Yulo "Cool tunes wafting from the speakers, cold Sapporo or San Miguel, nachos and guacamole will always do the trick – a few glasses and any amount of shyness magically vanished."

 After a batch of drinks at Providore, the group was headed to just headed to Todd English Food Hall, it is a huge dining space with well-curated food stations. Todd English Food Hall, provide a private room for the guest dads where a sumptuous dinner was served. The guest dads have a chance to try out their new dishes.

Mr. JJ Yulo described there dinning experienced as "The food was, as expected, varied and delicious – and we even got to try some of their brand new items! Cold oysters to start the ball rolling, their solid new buffalo wings and Asian dumplings, a healthy-ish bacon filled spinach salad, excellent pastas (TE makes it fresh!) like their addictive new corn ravioli (a must, if you ask me), classic pizza flatbreads, a KILLER porkchop (this dinner’s sleeper hit!), garlicky clams and mussels, and a gigantic steak, all washed down with some red wine. It doesn't get manlier than that! And for dessert, a fun new deconstructed dessert --- dulce de leche apple pie. If you didn’t talk to anyone at the table because you were too busy stuffing your face, it would be perfectly understandable."

For me events like this is great way to show our gratitude and saying thank you to our Dad. Remember to always show how you love your Dad. It is not just a one day event, it should be everyday.

Providore is a Coffee bar/ Bistro type where you can enjoy delicious food, cakes and pastries. An all local artisanal retail area. Skin care is the most important part of my daily rituals; but there are times that I am just so lazy to remove my blackheads and whiteheads also do wear some facial masks. Here comes to a point that I need to go to a clinic to see a doctor to ask what are the services that best fit for my skin. I will post every skin clinics that I've tried for you to pick which one is the best for your skin and your budget. So for today we going to review about Mauve Aesthetics & Medical Spa.

Before going to the Medical Spa you need to pre-schedule your visit or to make some appointment because they prefer clients who book for appointments. They do respond quickly, and they will give you their phone number which is 285-68-77 , you can call them for faster booking transaction. They answer all of my inquiries from instagram which is a good thing.

On the day of my visit, you can easily find the clinic which is located at Bayo Condotel Sct. Bayuran brgy South Triangle QC (nearABS-CBN). I came from GMA Network and just rode a tricycle to get to the place. Upon the entrance to the salon, I am deeply in-love with it because the them is Purple! Which is my favorite color! They interiors and design is so good and pleasing to the eyes. The staffs are accommodating and ask me what is my name to check if I already booked for an appointment. Ms. Margaret May Llavor,Founder/COO of Mauve Aesthetics and Medical Spa, show to me the different parts of their store and what they are offering. The hand me their price-list which I'll be posting below for you to see. 

The first floor of the clinic is where they do the nail services. There are lots of well designed chairs for the customers.

For the second floor, this is were the rooms are located. They do have single & couple room, great for couples or friends that want to be in a one room. The comfort room design is so cozy.

The procedure I got I think is Deep Cleansing Acne Special, because that I my acne is on bloom. I will post a video of my whole cleaning session below.


The Procedure


  • Cleansing of my face, which they use a foam cleanser face and massage it through. I like the massage part very much and I think that it helps clean up face. After cleansing they put facial mask to my face, "yung feeling na refreshing habang nilalagay sa face."
  • Sonopeel was the next procedure where there is a device that will run through your face while removing the dirt like black heads and white heads to your face.

  • Extraction of my pimples and other dirt that the Sonopeel device didn't removed. This part is the most painful one if you have large acne or even many pimples. So grab on some tissue to dub it to your eyes.
  • They clean up my face with a cotton pad, and put the protecting pads to my eye to get ready for the Blue light process, where a blue light will be treating the acne. It is pain free light that uses ultraviolet light that kills acne-causing bacteria.
  • The last two steps are important which is the Serum and SPF, which helped my face recover from all of the process. 
My overall experience in Mauve Aesthetics is good. If I will compare my experiences with the other clinics like Belo and Flawless. I love the whole experience from Mauve Aesthetics, the person who attended to my concern is approachable and answered all my questions. They are all well trained and knowledgeable on what they are doing. My facial was successful because my acne didn't come back. I have only one comment, I think they should improve on the cleansing of the face, because I noticed that my eyebrow makeup is still there and some of the procedure special the with the diamond peel machine is a little bit fast. Will I recommend this Clinic for my #DashingMomSquad? My answer is yes, they are budget friendly and good service. They are just a newly opened clinic but they have their own standards that makes each of the services unique from the other clinics.

Manilennials experience Munch Manila Food Park at SM Manila

Last June 4, I visited a unique food park that is located inside a Mall, Munch Manila food park is perfect for anyone looking to go on a quick, gastronomic adventure, a food park is a no-brainer choice. Armed with a variety of delicious, and affordable eats, along with instagrammable decor, it is not surprising to know that these little gems are a huge hit to Filipino foodies.

It started last May 29 and will last up to June 12. SM City Manila created this food park for the "Manilennials" to experience the ultimate food park experience right within the mall with Much Manila. Participating Brands: Mad for Pizza, 8 Stbites, Buffalo's Wings 'n' Things, Farron Cafe, Lunchies Lemonaden, Candy Up Cotton Candy and Big J's Sausages.

4. Lastly I know #hugot now a days is famous, SM City Manila Munch Manila also have this event for you guys, which is an Open Mic for Spoken Word Poetry every night 7 pm. The crowd will get to witness three peformers pour their hearts out as they recite their own poems, these performers are pre-selected from hundred of entries submitted to the much manila team so you are indeed in for a hugot tastic treat.
