Precision Meets Passion at Vivere Salon Glorietta with Mr. Alben Lawa

They all say that hair is the crowning glory of a woman that is why I am so honored to try out the expertise of one of the stylists from a well known salon Vivere Salon. Hair is the most precious part of a woman's body we do everything just to make it shiny and it helps us to look good.

If you're my avid reader you already read my post about a month ago that I decided to bleach my hair to achieve my dream hair color which was purple or violet. Here is the link on my post : Bleached Hair. Back then I only apply a semi permanent hair color that only last for days until a week.

From that day I said to myself that I will retain my bleached hair to try on different hair color trends do that I could make my own statement. Nevertheless, I do achieve that. But I got tired of redoing my hair color every two weeks. So again, I decided to stop coloring it and stick to this yellowish color. I do love my hair I constantly do home treatments and conditioned it almost every day to make it strong.

Luckily I was invited to try Vivere salon and to have a hair makeover. Vivere Glorietta 2 Branch interior is a mix of modern colors and patterns with a touch of Zen. A great combination of inspiration and balancing of moods of the customers as well as the staffs. All of their Senior Hair stylist embodied the salon principle "Precision Meets Passion" which on my own observation and experience this is where they are excellent.

My hair stylist was Mr. Alben Lawa, he is very accommodating and he picks a perfect color to my hair. A quick profile background of Mr. Alben Lawa, about an eight years on hair expertise and 2 years as a senior hair dresser in Vivere Salon.Whenever I go to a salon I always ask my hair stylist for his opinion on what hair style and color would actually make my face brighter and slimmer. As per Sir Alben, I told him that I believe in his expertise that he can do anything in my hair. So let's begin my hair transformation story.

So here is my untouched hair a combination of yellow, gold and black roots

The first step is to lighten up the root of my hair because it is already growing. Color mixture was on my hair for about 20 mins.

As I've said I let Mr. Alben to do what he thinks looks good on me. So here is the coloring, I wasn't able to take a pic of the mixture that they used to my hair, but it is a little bit pastel purple color.

This time color seats down for about 20 mins and they do my roots for another 15 mins. While waiting ate Mona give me some relaxing massage. To kill time and just to relax me.

Love the results, also Sir Alben treated my abused hair, to make it soft and for a long lasting hair colorful.

My overall experience in the Vivere Glorietta salon is awesome. They also took a photo of me because the outcome color is pigmented. Comparing my old hair style to my new one. It is more pigmented and vibrant. Curling my hair will also make it look good.

Here is my updated hair color after 6 days, which is so fab. It is not that loud red color, it compliments my skin even better making my skin more whiter. To my #DashingMomSquad , one thing I can say, staying out of your comfort zone means giving a chance for a better you.

Maybelline Micellar Water Review

What is Micellar Water?

Micellar Water is made up of micelles a tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules suspended in soft water.

How it is use?

Micellar water, you can moisten a cotton pad with a few drops of the skin cleansing solution, so that the pad itself becomes moist. Then you will swipe the pad across your skin and you'll see the dirt and make up from your skin transfer to the pad.

How does it work?

The idea is that micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin, Therefore, micellar water can be used as a facial wash, make up remover and moisturizer all in one.

I do wear make-up a lot and proper skin care routine is important at night to avoid zits and pimples to come up. I think last year I've heard Micellar water that will shorten your make up skin routine shorter. Today I'll be reviewing Micellar Water from Maybelline.

The Review

The Swatch Test :Matte Lipstick, Eyeliner, Mascara Waterproof, Matte Foundation

Maybelline's Micellar water packaging is just a typical clear bottle with a pink cap. It clearly states information about the product, including the product name, product claims, size in ml/FL Oz, How to use it, manufacturer. Which is also written in another language which I think Japanese. For only 199 pesos this might be a good catch for those who wants to try out a Micelar Water.

If you're asking if this one really cleanse the face here is a sample swipe with this product.

First Swipe

Matte Foundation : Instantly removed the Matte foundation
Waterproof Mascara: Only lightens it's color
Eyeliner: black color is still visible
Matte Lipstick: Removes only a part of it

Second swipe

Matter foundation : Completely Vanished
Waterproof Mascara: Only lightens it's color
Eyeliner: Black color lightens
Matte Lipstick : Removes only a few parts again

I keep on doing the swipe motion until I was able to successfully remove all of the products. It takes me about 5 more swipes to take off all of the products at my hand. I also try this product to my face, removing my makeup. While I am removing my make-up I noticed that it leaves this moist, smooth texture of my skin that for me is not so comfortable as for myself until it completely dries out. Maybelline Micelar Water removes my makeup, but it takes time. It doesn't have a fragrance just like a waiter.

Is this worth the money?

For only 199 pesos you can get to try a Micelar water. Take note that waterproof products are hard to be removed from this Maybelline Micelar Water. It does remove makeup to your face, but for me you still need to wash off your face with soap and water to remove all the products from your face.

This Maybelline Micelar Water is perfect for those who on the go travelers and road trips to instantly removing your make up without using a soap and water. In that sense, I think you need to have this product also it moisturize your face to just be patient on shipping it to your face gently and it will remove all your make up.

Salu Filipino Restaurant celebrate their First Year together with their new dishes

Salu, The Filipino Restaurant which is owned by the celebrity couple, Romnick Sarmenta and Harlene Bautista, opened its doors last June 9, 2016. They provide authentic treats from different parts of the Philippines. This year on their 1 year anniversary, they thrive and is ready to offer more delectable and unique surprise for customers who deserve more when it comes to Pinoy food trip.

The restaurant opened their anniversary month with a blockbuster promo of buy take 1 take 1 of their famous ‘BLK’ (Binagoongang Lechon Kare-kare). A Piso for Brazo de Kalabasa shall also be enjoyed by the first 100 guests for every purchase of Php500.00 on June 11, 2017. Both of these promos were made to give thanks to all Ka-Salu/s who have dined and craved for the best of Salu plates this past year. “Masarap at nakakataba ng puso ang aming unang taon. So we thought, why not give thanks and extend to our customers those blessings that we earned because of their trust through these simple promos. During the thanksgiving lunch that had happened last June 9, 2017, the celebrity couple also shared a colorful year that was for Salu. These include gaining tie ups with some organizations such as Hashtag Philippines through Antoinette Taus, where average of 300 kids are fed every event with Salu packed lunches that comes with love notes from volunteers. Salu was also chosen to represent the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao for the biggest food convention in the world - Madrid Fusion, where they showcased their best southern dishes that’s available only at restaurant. Chefs, culinary experts and delegates of the congress were in awe with the taste of Mindanao cuisines that’s unique and distinct due to special ingredients such as pampa, that’s famous in Mindanao. Some of the featured dishes include Beef Kulma, Syagul Pagi, Utak Utak and Pyanggang. “We are grateful to be chosen by DOT-ARMM headed by Mrs. Ayesha Mangudadatu Dilangalen, to represent their region at the presitigous Madrid Fusion. Skin care is the most important part of my daily rituals; but there are times that I am just so lazy to remove my blackheads and whiteheads also do wear some facial masks. Here comes to a point that I need to go to a clinic to see a doctor to ask what are the services that best fit for my skin. I will post every skin clinics that I've tried for you to pick which one is the best for your skin and your budget. So for today we going to review about Mauve Aesthetics & Medical Spa.

Before going to the Medical Spa you need to pre-schedule your visit or to make some appointment because they prefer clients who book for appointments. You can contact them thru their Facebook account Mauve Aesthetics or Instagram account Mauve Aesthetics. They do respond quickly, and they will give you their phone number which is 285-68-77 , you can call them for faster booking transaction. They answer all of my inquiries from instagram which is a good thing.

On the day of my visit, you can easily find the clinic which is located at Bayo Condotel Sct. Bayuran brgy South Triangle QC (nearABS-CBN). I came from GMA Network and just rode a tricycle to get to the place. Upon the entrance to the salon, I am deeply in-love with it because the them is Purple! Which is my favorite color! They interiors and design is so good and pleasing to the eyes. The staffs are accommodating and ask me what is my name to check if I already booked for an appointment. Ms. Margaret May Llavor,Founder/COO of Mauve Aesthetics and Medical Spa, show to me the different parts of their store and what they are offering. The first floor of the clinic is where they do the nail services. There are lots of well designed chairs for the customers.

For the second floor, this is were the rooms are located. They do have single & couple room, great for couples or friends that want to be in a one room. The comfort room design is so cozy.

The procedure I got I think is Deep Cleansing Acne Special, because that I my acne is on bloom. I will post a video of my whole cleaning session below.

The Procedure

Cleansing of my face, which they use a foam cleanser face and massage it through. I like the massage part very much and I think that it helps clean up face. After cleansing they put facial mask to my face, "yung feeling na refreshing habang nilalagay sa face."
Sonopeel was the next procedure where there is a device that will run through your face while removing the dirt like black heads and white heads to your face.

Extraction of my pimples and other dirt that the Sonopeel device didn't removed. This part is the most painful one if you have large acne or even many pimples. So grab on some tissue to dub it to your eyes.
They clean up my face with a cotton pad, and put the protecting pads to my eye to get ready for the Blue light process, where a blue light will be treating the acne. It is pain free light that uses ultraviolet light that kills acne-causing bacteria.
The last two steps are important which is the Serum and SPF, which helped my face recover from all of the process.

My overall experience in Mauve Aesthetics is good. If I will compare my experiences with the other clinics like Belo and Flawless. I love the whole experience from Mauve Aesthetics, the person who attended to my concern is approachable and answered all my questions. They are all well trained and knowledgeable on what they are doing. My facial was successful because my acne didn't come back. I have only one comment, I think they should improve on the cleansing of the face, because I noticed that my eyebrow makeup is still there and some of the procedure special the with the diamond peel machine is a little bit fast. Will I recommend this Clinic for my #DashingMomSquad? My answer is yes, they are budget friendly and good service. They are just a newly opened clinic but they have their own standards that makes each of the services unique from the other clinics.
