555 FRIED NG BARANGAY COOKING SHOWDOWN
555 Fried Sardines recently held a cooking showdown that encourages to “Make Your Barangay Proud”
in chosen Barangays from Pampanga, Pangasinan and Quezon.
Participants featured their entries using 555 Fried Sardinesas main ingredient in vying for the top spots per Leg.
Filipinos are known to cook from the heart which shows why we love sharing meals with family as well
as friends and 555 Fried sardines was able to highlight this culture through the Fried ng Barangay
Cooking Showdown organized by Century Pacific Food Inc. and 88ville Productions.
Using 555 Fried sardines variants such as Tausi, Hot and Spicy, Bistek, and Escabeche, participants were encouraged to come up with dishes that are not just nutritional but delicious as well.
To further engage the whole Barangay, samples of the product were tasted as they enjoyed the event
through various games and raffles.
From the hundreds of entries submitted, Top 10 entries were chosen to participate in the actual demo
which was furthered down to the Top 5 per Town who received the honors.
Inspiration is the key
Ms. Elsa Dela Cruz, Grand Winner from Brgy. Buenlag, Calasiao Pangasinan took influence from Filipinos’s love for noodles, thus her winning entry Egg noodles with 555Fried Sardines
While Mr. Larry Quinto, Grand winner from Brgy. Sindalan, San Fernando Cityenthuses that he draws his inspiration in creating his winning entry- 555 Fried Sardines Lumpiang Sariwa from his family. Serving healthy food to his loved ones is his top most priority.
Maricel Quezada took the top place for the Quezon leg with Veggie Spicy Cordon Bleau Sardines drawn from her family’s love for vegetables.
555 Fried ng Barangay Cooking Showdown plans to visit other towns in the months to come.
Feel free to come up with your own sardine recipes and make your own creative fusion using
555 Fried sardines and who knows your recipe might be the next highlight.
Incidentally, 555 Sardines recently signed up Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub as their newest endorser singing to the tune of Sana dalawa ang Puso ko.

Review : Sally's House of Beauty

Last Sunday my Mom and I went to the salon. We avail two different Services, Mom tried their Promo which is the Milk Rebond and I tried there signature Ombre/ Highlight Hair color. To give you a sneak view about their works look at the pictures below.

Every women has their own dream hair. So am I, I browse a lot of pictures in pinterest to see what I want to do in my hair. I already went to a curl hair which didn't work for me because when my hair is already dry it is straight already. I went to different colors, blue black, brown, ash blonde. But today I want to achieve that summer looking hair, and ombre is the best hair i would choose.
Sally's House of Beauty is very cozy, the seats are very comfortable. The hair dresser named Chris is very accommodating, because I can't decided what color combination for my hair he help me to choose. It is a mix of ash blonde with dark brown color.
So the process is first He colored my hair with dark brown color, i forgot to take a picture that time, then waited for about 30 mins and rinse the color. Next procedure was the bleaching of my hair. He portioned my hair into 4 parts, gather some hair then lather the bleach/ correction formula to the ends of my hair , he also put a light amount to the top. Waited for about 20 mins then rinse off again. The last step was the ash blonde color, then they treated my hair with a keratin I think. So here is my hair now.

My overall feedback about this salon is here:
They have a nice interior , a white motif plus a floral accent is a plus. Mirrors are all big, comfortable chairs. Also i was able to charge my phone so thank you so much. The rinsing chair (well I don't know what is it called but that chair) is good.
My neck is now stiff like in David's Salon that I need to adjust my head every time they will rinse my hair. Another thing they have a free coffee. Also they shared to us that if you come about 10:00 am - 11:00 am customers will have a free lunch while doing the treatments or the salon stuffs. It is because the salon is too far from the food stalls so they offer a free lunch to their customers. Attendants and Hair dresser have a pleasing personalities.
Sally's House of Beauty Salon is owned by two sisters, Rica and her older sister. It is a good investment for them! Two thumbs up for the both of you!
What I don't like about the salon? Well it is located at the second floor and the stair is too narrow I think. My mom says while going up that she is having a hard time someday whenever she will visit the shop. The salon is too hard to find for the first timers.
Would I visit the salon in the future? Yes I will visit and Recommend this salon to all of you.

Mrs. Grahams Macaron Cafe Sweet Escape

It is an ordinary day that my office mate and I decided to roam around Tomas Morato Area. We decided to have our lunch at Mrs. Graham's. It is located at Scout Rallos, near Papa Johns, Pizza Hut, Purple Oven, etc. They serve desserts, to be exact it is macaron! French macaroon. The first thing I noticed about the place where there lamp shades hung on the ceiling it was really cute.

The server in the shop is really accommodating to all of our questions and requests. Upon entering the shop you will be welcomed by all of the colorful macarons displayed in front of you.
The tables and chairs give an old beach vibe for the customers. They also have some board games and card games for their guest to enjoy. It is a best place to have a chat.They have a mini section for all the crafters out there, available for all.
There are many flavors to choose from, on our case we order all of the flavors available because we can't choose what to order and added our milk shakes.
Overall experience to Mrs. Graham's was great we enjoy our stay. It is a perfect place to have your dessert and to keep updated with your friends. And most important the place is Instagram-worth! About the taste and flavors of the macaron, I can give it 4 stars out of 5, some of the flavors available are sweet and they are all unique (well it is unique that I can't tell what it is).The Crunchy layer outside and soft and chewy texture inside is the best! The price is worth the items that they are selling, it is around 50-65 pesos depend on the flavors and ingredients used. I suggest not to bring a car when you go there because they don't have ample of parking space outside.

Am I going back to Mrs. Graham's? Of course, it is my second time to have some dessert here, I definitely recommend this place to you. The Mrs. Graham’s Macaron Cafe is located at 51 Scout Rallos, Quezon City, along Papa John’s and near the F7 Building. They are open from 11:00am to 11:00pm.

My Top Wedding Ceremony Choices

If you will ask me what is special this month my answer will be its Valentine's Day! This coming February 14 will be not just an ordinary day in park either on malls. It is a special day with everyone out there. You might see a lot of girls carrying those big bouquets of flowers well it is definitely a normal thing. This is also the season where boys express their love to the girl that they love.
Here are my top 7 wedding ceremonies that I choose to share with you to make that kilig factor increase. Let's all watch to feel this season of LOVE.
7. Everybody got hooked with the song Collide because of the wedding video of Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Sotto Wedding. A unique wedding beside the beach, a bride wearing chucks below her beautiful white wedding gown. Watch the video as you reminisce and fall in love again. (and also sing along with).
6. Who wouldn’t want a beach wedding? Here is another beach wedding of the famous fashionista Kim Jones and Jericho Rosales. There wedding is intimate one, mostly closest friends and relative are there. Their wedding vows to each other are sweet and full of memories. What’s unique in their wedding is a sailboat is used as a design
5. Another beach wedding, I think this one looks very intimate and simple; the wedding gown is simple and not extravagant. What I love this wedding is that it is a modern wedding by the bay where everyone enjoys a cup of wine while having a good ocean breeze.
4. Who could tell a tragedy would make their relationship stronger Neri and lead vocalist of Parokya ni Edgar Chito Miranda tie a not. A Simple Garden wedding to cherish their love and swear to God that they will forever have each other through thick or thin. This wedding story gives me a note that whatever happened love will always find the way to make everything right. Unique with this wedding is that they prepare mini games to be enjoyed with their guest.
3. Iya and Drew wedding is like a best friends turned into lovers story. Their wedding truly envisions who they really are. Playful and truly inlove.
2. Girls love surprises isn’t amazing that boys surprises us? Zoren Legaspi nailed it. He proposes to Carmina and married her in one sweet night, together with their cute twins. All things are amazing.
1. My first choice made me cry. Watching their very unique wedding on the hospital. The groom was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer and his last request was to marry his true love. It was heartbreaking love story. The groom died less than 10 hours after their wedding. Seems to be he just wait to get married and died peacefully
