To my #DashingMomSquad Mommies and Daddies out there who is asking how you can you make brushing more fun for the family? Here are some of my personal tips for you.I know teaching your toddler how to brush their teeth is so hard, as in hard, because they tend just to eat that minty toothpaste and play with the brush.

Tip #1:

 Download a video from YouTube about how to brush the teeth. Remember your target is to teach them how to brush their teeth on their own in a right way.I prefer two kinds of video; first one is a toddler like them that is brushing his teeth.


So that he can mimic the actions of the kid in the video.Second is that jolly video of an animated kid who can teach him, brushing his torch with fun background songs and lyrics.

Tip #2:

 I always join my kid and do brush my teeth whenever he needs to; this tip is very reliable because he tends to do the same steps you are doing.

Tip #3: 

Before we start brushing, I always sing to him this song, "Brush, brush, brush your teeth, " I repeat this lyrics and he become excited to do so..

Tip #4:

Have a schedule of when he needs to brush his teeth; this tip will help him remember that on that specific time he needs to brush his teeth. I do Every morning after waking up, lunch time and before going to bed.

Tip #5

Buy him a tooth brush that is catchy to his eyes. This I prefer his favorite cartoon character the minions. By the way we always buy him a brush From Colgate with a Minion theme.

After the brushing

Last May 13, 2017,I got an invite to cover a newly organized bazaar by Mom Squad, it is especially made for Moms and Dads that is having a difficulty to find cheaper alternatives of the basic needs of their children. Held on Estancia Mall, at Capitol Commons, I arrived at the event and was able to see all of the sellers with full of smile. This is one of the series of a new portion at my blog Mom 101, which I will review and share some of the items that I use and strategies on how I take care of my son Harvey Samson. As you will follow my facebook and other blog post, my son is known to be the most active and super energetic child as always with that characteristics I need him to be packed with lots of food, milk, and vitamins so that he can recharge even he is so active. My Verdict: 

Will I going to continue this vitamins for my son? My answer will be yes, in terms that it do help my son and gave him more energy, but this is just an addition to some other supplements he is taking now. As you can see on it's Nutritional information vitamin C is  just a minimal with this supplements. I want him to take a little higher on the Vitamin C side to make his immune system stronger. It taste good and smells good. It contain a Ponkan Flavor that is perfect taste for a child's taste buds. The amount of in-take depends on the age of the child is just a minimal. This is a plus because you can save money with this just a minimal drop for a 120ml bottle of energy. Last March 11, 2017 , me and my son #littleSamson went to an event workshop hosted by Hobbes & Landes. They hosted 3 different workshops for children ages 3 and up.


Workshops namely Lego Trio Speed building competition held on Hobbes Greenbelt 5 for ages 7- 14 years old, Free Trial for Around the World in 10 Days at Hobbes BGC Branch for ages 5 to 11 years old and the last one was a Free trial for Story-time art Workshop again held at Greenbelt 5 Hobbes branch.


My son together with his cousin went to BGC Hobbes branch for the Around the World in 10 Days workshop. upon our arrival there were lots of participants already, and my son and ate Zia are too much excited for it. Their teacher start the workshop by telling a story at the kids about the Safari desert which she has a ready trivia story for the kids. Then they handed art materials for the kids to do the mask. They let the kids design their own mask according to their creativity. The workshop was enjoyable for the kids. They had fun making their mask and chatting with their new friends.

My insights about the workshop : Kids had fun learning and making crafts. They didn't provide kids apron , I think mommy should bring extra shirts for the kids because on the making of the mask they were given a painting materials that might ruin their shirts
