#DenimDaysatSM with SM Men and SM Youth at SM Mall of Asia

Last July 22, 2017, SM Mall of Asia hosted the First and Biggest Instagram party. I know it is everyone's problem wearing denim here in the Philippines , seems not a good idea because of the hot weather. Here SM Men and SM Youth showed to you a different style on styling your denim.


The show started with an introduction of what was the event all about. By the way they invited a couple of bloggers and influencers to witness this fashion show and spread the denim craze.



Who said that denim on denim is not good for the eyes? Here SM Men and SM Youth worked it. They pair denim shorts to a formal 3/4 top, layered jacket and shirt. 


#DenimUnbound fashion show also introduced some of the Newest Ambassadors of SM Men and SM Youth. Nico Bolzico, Tommy Esguerra, Richard Juan, Janina Tee, Kaila Estrada, Kyle Perry Macauly Lofgren, Erika Kristensen, Ethan Salvador, Chelsea Manalo, Justin Llarena, Mariah Jowett, Klaudio Gutierrez.

Beauty Hub is now open and Unimart Greenhills : Nailaholics, Hey Sugar and Ooh-La-Lash

I'm happy to share with you guys that Nailaholics, Ooh-La-Lash and Hey Sugar salon opens their door to mall goers from Greenhills. They are located on the Mezzanine of Unimart Greenhills.

This will be an addition to your list of where to go to in the Greenhills area. Aside from their wide range of tongue bazaars, church and lots of food choices at the place, You can now enjoy and get pampered on Unimart Mezzanine. Girls who opted go shopping to Greenhils and work nearby can now enjoy this salon.

I recently got an invite to their bloggers event. It is a perfect time for me to relax. I also able to talk to my other blogger friends.

Ooh La Lash Unimart, Greenhills Experience + How to take care an eyelash extension

My last and final stop in this event was here at Ooh La Lash, they are specialized on eyelash extensions and eyelash perming. Here I choose Eyelash extension on Diva. 

Eyelash extension can help us achieve that woke up like this aura, without even putting on a make-up. Lash Extensions or some may call it ‘lash extenders’ are individual strands of synthetic lashes attached to your natural lashes one by one using special glue. They could be the best gift given to some of us who were not born lucky enough to have long, gorgeous, thick lashes. Since applying false lashes everyday can prove to be a painstaking daily beauty episode (not to mention the messy glue application) opting for a safer, more convenient and more natural looking choice is definitely the wiser move! 

On Ooh La Lash, you can choose eyelash length that fits your mood. 

I've been on lash extension salons and they only provide couches for their clients, here on Ooh La Lash clients can go sleep to their beds while doing their lashes. Usually this takes about an hour for the whole process. 



What preparations do I need to do beforehand? 

According to the lash experts at Ooh La Lash, you should: 
  1. Make sure to cleanse your eyes and remove any eye makeup or product applied as it may interfere with the adhesives and may cause reaction.
  2. Make sure you don’t have the following conditions: Conjunctivitis, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Styes, Alopecia, Blepharitis or if you are undergoing chemotherapy.
  3. You cannot have eyelash extensions if you have had an eye operation/eye surgery within the last 6 months.
  4. If you have scarring to the eye area, eyelash extension service should be performed 6 months after the scarred area has been healed.
  5. Contact lenses cannot be worn before and directly after the eyelash extension service.
  6. If you wear glasses, don’t forget to bring these with you so the lash technician can make sure there is room for your lashes to grow.

Lastly, don’t forget to inform the lash technician if you suffer with claustrophobia or have any neck problems. They are well-trained and capable of answering any concern you may have.
You’d be surprised to know that there are a lot of options to choose from when it comes to lash extensions. At Ooh La Lash, you have the freedom to choose your curl, length and thickness. Go for Light and Natural (30-50 lashes)  for natural-looking lashes that would go unnoticed,  Classic  (51-85 lashes)  that’s has the perfect length and curl to add oomph to your everyday look,  Diva (86-130 lashes) for voluminous lashes with ultimate curl and length that scream va va voom! and Vixen (Unlimited lashes) for long and beaut-full lashes to die for.  

Does it hurt? 

Based on my experience on other Lash parlor, the glue that they are using does hurt. It makes my eye tear a lot. Here on Ooh La Lash, the glue that they are using is good for sensitive eye. Frankly I didn't expect that there is no foul odor from the glue and it does not sting my eyes.

How to take care of your newly vamped lashes?

FOR THE FIRST 48 HOURS AFTER THE SERVICE
1. Avoid wetting your lashes.
2. Avoid swimming or exposure to heat
3. Do not apply oil-based creams and lotions on or around your eyes.
4. Do not apply eye or lash makeup.
5. Avoid eyelash tinting, perming or chemical eyelash treatments.
6. Avoid sleeping on side or stomach.
AFTER 48 HOURS
1. Avoid excessive exposure to heat or steam when swimming, showering or exercising.
2. Avoid rubbing your eyes and do not pick or pull your extensions as it might pull off your natural lashes.
3. Avoid using oil based makeup remover as it can weaken the adhesives and might cause your lashes to fall off fast.
4. If you choose to wear mascara, strictly buy the water-based type.
5. Do not use eyelash curlers.



The eyelash extension only last to me for a week, because I wasn't able to take care of it. Sorry Ooh La Lash for it, but their services are good. If only I take good care of my lashes it will last for a month. Be careful eyelash extension is so addictive, it really add a new look to your face. Hey Sugar Waxing Salon at Unimart Greenhills Experience + Benefits of Organic Ingredients

Hello again #DashingMomSquad, here is the other part of my pampering day experience now I'm at the Hey Sugar Salon. 


Hey Sugar Salon is known for their Organic ingredients for waxing which is sugar. Upon your entrance at Hey Sugar Unimart Greenhills you will notice that it focuses on girly vintage, colorful, flowery interior that is so cute. Their staff are all accommodating too. At first I thought that Hey Sugar Salon only caters waxing services, but to my surprised they also have eyelash perming and extension.


I opted to take the service for my eyebrows which is eyebrow threading and for the stray hair on my underarm. When I'm not in the mood to pluck my stray hair on my eyebrows I usually go to a Salon to have them done. Threading may have a little bit of pain for first timers, especially on the lower part of the eye near the eyes.

Threading is not only for eyebrows, but can be done on all of your facial hair, on your body even to your underarm.

I can see that my eyebrows now have a cleaner edges. After I'm done with my brows I go in their treatment room to have my underarm done. Yes, it is still a cozy flowery theme.

Nailaholics Unimart Greenhills Experience + Tips for a Healthier and Long Lasting Nail Color

I'm sure you already read my introduction or my other 2 blog posts about this pampering day. You are here at my Nailaholics Salon experience. As you know I love pampering especially on my nails, because I think that this makes the first impression of a woman aside from her fragrant and hair. The services that I choose were Foot Spa, Foot Massage, and Pedicure. Ate Jhen was my nail technicians.

Ate Jhen first cleans up my feet and soaked it up to a basin with warm basin bucket. Then she started the exfoliating process. Ate Jhen is gentle and accommodating to all of my questions about the Nailaholics opening. She also helps me to decide what color should I put on my nails.By the way, I want to share with you guys ways to make your nail colors last longer. I'm sure that you are thrilled to know this hack and it came from the professional from Nailaholics Unimart Greenhills.

Some tips for a Healthy and Longer color Nails

  1. Always Moisturize. Like our skin, nails need to be moisturized too to prevent breakage and chips.
  2. Always use a base coat before painting color on. This is the best necessity if you cared enough for your nails, like Nailaholics mandatory service when painting a nail. This will protect your nails from staining and also acts as a great adhesive for the polish ensuring lasting color.
  3. Apply thin coats of polish with every stroke. It dries quickly and doesn't cause bubbles. To do this just run the tip of the applicator to the opening of the nail polish bottle.
  4. Don't be on hurry on putting all the layers of the nail polish. Wait a couple of minutes between each coat to make sure the nail polish adheres properly to its base.

I received Yakap Delivery from Neozep

I am a working mom, so even I am not feeling well I still go to work. A few weeks just past I feel really sick because of colds. Neozep found out that I had colds they send me a #YakapDelivery box to keep my day going.

Precision Meets Passion at Vivere Salon Glorietta with Mr. Alben Lawa

They all say that hair is the crowning glory of a woman that is why I am so honored to try out the expertise of one of the stylists from a well known salon Vivere Salon. Hair is the most precious part of a woman's body we do everything just to make it shiny and it helps us to look good.

If you're my avid reader you already read my post about a month ago that I decided to bleach my hair to achieve my dream hair color which was purple or violet. Here is the link on my post : Bleached Hair. Back then I only apply a semi permanent hair color that only last for days until a week.

From that day I said to myself that I will retain my bleached hair to try on different hair color trends do that I could make my own statement. Nevertheless, I do achieve that. But I got tired of redoing my hair color every two weeks. So again, I decided to stop coloring it and stick to this yellowish color. I do love my hair I constantly do home treatments and conditioned it almost every day to make it strong.



Luckily I was invited to try Vivere salon and to have a hair makeover. Vivere Glorietta 2 Branch interior is a mix of modern colors and patterns with a touch of Zen. A great combination of inspiration and balancing of moods of the customers as well as the staffs. My hair stylist was Mr. Alben Lawa, he is very accommodating and he picks a perfect color to my hair. A quick profile background of Mr. Alben Lawa, about an eight years on hair expertise and 2 years as a senior hair dresser in Vivere Salon.Whenever I go to a salon I always ask my hair stylist for his opinion on what hair style and color would actually make my face brighter and slimmer. As per Sir Alben, I told him that I believe in his expertise that he can do anything in my hair. So let's begin my hair transformation story.

So here is my untouched hair a combination of yellow, gold and black roots

 The first step is to lighten up the root of my hair because it is already growing. Color mixture was on my hair for about 20 mins.

As I've said I let Mr. Alben to do what he thinks looks good on me. So here is the coloring, I wasn't able to take a pic of the mixture that they used to my hair, but it is a little bit pastel purple color.

This time color seats down for about 20 mins and they do my roots for another 15 mins. While waiting ate Mona give me some relaxing massage. To kill time and just to relax me.

 Love the results, also Sir Alben treated my abused hair, to make it soft and for a long lasting hair colorful.





My overall experience in the Vivere Glorietta salon is awesome. They also took a photo of me because the outcome color is pigmented. Comparing my old hair style to my new one. It is more pigmented and vibrant. Curling my hair will also make it look good.

Here is my updated hair color after 6 days, which is so fab. It is not that loud red color, it compliments my skin even better making my skin more whiter. To my #DashingMomSquad , one thing I can say, staying out of your comfort zone means giving a chance for a better you.
